Jay
D'Ambrosio, M.A.Jay has been a teacher, mentor, and conflict mediator at the secondary level for over ten years, and holds an undergraduate and masters degree in the social sciences. He is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), School Crisis Response, and conflict mediation. Jay is also a Pennsylvania certified member of the Student Assistance Program. He serves as a mentor and family and relationship mediator with North Way Counseling Services and the North Way Learning Center. In July of 2009, Jay was named a "STAR Educator" by the Discovery Channel. He was nominated for a 2005 Pennsylvania Teacher Excellence Center Award. In 2002 he was nominated for Disney's American Teacher Awards. Two of Jay's educational Web sites were named "Best Bets in Education" by USA Today. In 2001 he was presented with the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award by Robinson Industries.
